Sustainability Tours

The Office of Sustainability offers sustainability tours for groups of up to twenty people.

Participants will learn about some of the sustainability services and attractions on the Thunder Bay campus. Stops on the tour include the Braun Building rain garden, the CASES building, cigarette recycling stations, Lake Tamblyn, the McIntyre River, the sweat lodge, the campus garden, and more.

During the tour, participants will discuss what "sustainability" means to the University, and how it is more broadly defined by multiple worldviews. Participants will also learn some history of the campus.

Tours are 1.5 hours and may not be possible in winter if snow levels are high.
