The goal of the conference was to discuss natural resource communities within the three countries.

Dec 1	Lakehead U Researchers Strive to Educate Canadians on Safe Driving Practices (Thunder Bay) The mandate of Lakehead University's Centre for Research on Safe Driving (CRSD) is to conduct research on safe driving and educate Canadian drivers to reduce the number of vehicular crashes and subsequent injuries and fatalities by raising awareness of safe driving practices across the country. National Safe Driving Week runs from December 1 through 7, and CRSD researchers are urging all drivers to do something, however small, to make our roads safe all year round.
