Dr. Salem was Interviewed by Country 105.3 News Program on the Construction of the New Structural Fire Testing Facility at LU

The News Program of the Country 105.3 Radio Channel interviewed Dr. Salem on October 8^th, 2014, to highlight the most important details of the New Structural Fire Testing Facility currently under construction at Lakehead University. This state-of-the-art facility will house a large fire testing furnace that will be utilized to investigate the structural fire performance of various building components and assemblies. This world-class facility has been constructed using a Leaders Opportunity Fund awarded to Dr. Salem by Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) and the Ministry of Research and Innovation (MRI) in 2013, as well as Emergining Technology Program Grant from the Northern Ontario Heritage Funding Coorporation (NOHFC). It is scheduled to have the new facility operational by spring 2015.
