Research Interests:

My research revolves around the following domains, with an emphasis on using data‑driven methods and BIM for construction and infrastructure systems:

1. Infrastructure Asset Management (IAM): I develop predictive tools and decision‑support systems for managing infrastructure assets such as roads, bridges and buildings.
I apply machine learning and optimization to urban issues such as infrastructure deterioration, municipal finance and traffic.

2. Data and model governance: I don't just apply algorithms. I am also interested in lifecycle of data and models, and how much value/risk they bring to an organization.

3. Climate‑Resilient Infrastructure: I am interested in climate change and understanding and modeling how it affects infrastructure performance.

4. Construction Management & Optimization: I am interested in solving construction‑management problems such as scheduling and productivity-related issues with emphasis on lifecycle costs.
