Ryan McVeigh’s research examines the social dimensions of mind, self, and cognition. His current work draws on the pragmatism of G.H. Mead to highlight both the tensions and congruencies between interpretive sociology and empirical research in cognitive science. This research emphasizes the constitutive nature of sociality and underscores the connections that exist between individuals in relation to meaning, development, and ontology.
