Previous Teaching/Work:
Dr. Maranzan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology. She obtained her Ph.D. at Lakehead University and completed her residency in professional psychology at Memorial University in Newfoundland. Her research interests are in mental illness stigma, mood and anxiety disorders, and mental health outcome research. She teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels including courses such as Psychological Disorders in Adults, Ethical and Professional Issues, and Clinical Supervision. Dr. Maranzan is a scientist-practitioner and practices from a cognitive-behavioural orientation.
