I am a community-engaged, qualitative researcher. My scholarship interests include everyday ethical issues, moral distress/injury, mental health & well-being (including resilience, compassion, addiction), northern and rural communities, and innovative pedagogies.

Moral distress/moral injury; Ethical decision making in health care; Teaching and learning compassion in nursing; In-patient substance use; Pregnant and/or parenting women and substance involvement; Patient care planning using computer aided design/drafting; Patient Oriented Research (POR); Digital storytelling
