
Tami Chamberlain
Tami Chamberlain is the Indigenous Initiatives Coordinator at Lakehead University's Orillia campus,
providing direct support to Indigenous students and collaborating with other campus departments to enhance programming and campus-wide activities. Tami also implements recruitment strategies in the Orillia region and south central Ontario.
Tami has been an active Indigenous student for the past four years at the Orillia campus, contributing greatly to the campus community and acting as a positive role model for fellow students through her volunteering and participation in the Global Me initiative. She has roots in the Sudbury region and has lived and raised her family in the Barrie area for many years. Tami has extensive experience in office administration and as a volunteer Indigenous liaison for Corrections Canada for the past 5 years. She brings knowledge and strong community connections to this new role.
