#ITSTARTS: IDERD & World Down Syndrome Day

Join us in Simcoe Hall to celebrate 75 years since the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to recognize the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination! You can complete an #ITSTARTS card and/or create colourful socks to adorn our wall for World Down Syndrome Day! This week and always, we strive for a sense of belonging for all!

International Day for the Elimination Racial Discrimination

International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination recognizes that the injustices and prejudices fueled by racial discrimination take place every day. While much progress has been made, communities continue to face racism and discrimination every day. This day serves as a call to action for individuals, organizations, and all levels of government to actively work to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination, injustice, systemic racism and hate. Re-committing efforts, to ensure all people are respected and have equal access and opportunity to be safe and to succeed.
