Start your Lakehead journey off right! Connect with other international students and the ISS (International Student Services) Team, discover what campus has available for you, and embrace the Canadian way with fun activities! All new students should plan to attend Welcome Day.

Please note this event is for new students only. Space for friends and family will not be available.

Winter Clothing Drive

Winter is here and so is Lakehead International’s annual Winter Outdoor Clothing Drive! To provide for all of our international students who may be experiencing their first Canadian Winter or may not have the proper winter wear to keep warm, International Student Services is collecting new or gently used winter jackets, hats, mitts, and boots. If you have new or gently used items that you can donate, we’ll gladly accept them.

'Tis the season to be Jolly, get into the Christmas spirit , and unwind before your finals exams with the International Student Services elves! Join us for Christmas crafts, Gingerbread House decorating, Christmas Karaoke, Snacks and so much more fun! See you there!

International Education Week: NSE Info Session

Location: Virtual (must register for zoom link)

Entry: For students who are interested in hearing about study abroad opportunities through NSE (National Student Exchange) which hosts exchanges in the US, Canada, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, and Guam
