Understanding Psychosis

First Place Clinic will be leading an information session for staff who are interested in learning more about psychosis, what is it, what are the causes, how to treat it and how to support someone who is experiencing it. We will also discuss challenges for students including communication, managing stress, maintaining wellness and how educators can support students with these challenges.

Exploring Neurodiversity

This information session is designed for student affairs and all university staff who are interested in learning more about neurodiversity. In this session, Specialisterne Canada will unpack the concepts of disability and neurodiversity, and introduce attendees to the different diagnoses or identities that fall under the umbrella of neurodiversity.
