I chose to complete my BEd at Lakehead University for several reasons. I already knew that Lakehead was a great school, having completed my HBA in English several years before. The Education program had a great reputation for delivering high-quality education and also had a high employment rate for graduates...and I wanted to remain in my (adopted) hometown of Thunder Bay! Lakehead was the perfect choice.

"I came to Lakehead University because it is close to home. I also like the campus, and the arts program provides me with a lot of personal attention from the professors. Lakehead is the right university for me because the campus is beautiful, there are plenty of places to relax and hang out with my friends, and it is affordable. All the buildings are very accessible which makes getting from class to class easy - the tunnel rocks for days when it's not very nice out!

Lakehead is a small university that provides students with a lot of one-on-one time with professors.You will get to know all of the students in your program throughout the years and you will build relationships with your professors as you move through your degree.
