"I chose Lakehead for several reasons. Firstly, it offered the Concurrent Education program which allowed me to take education courses throughout my undergraduate career. Secondly, the university atmosphere really appealed to me. The faculty and staff were friendly and approachable and went above and beyond in answering all of my tough questions. Thirdly, since I am an outdoors person I wanted to attend a university that possessed a nice contrast between urban and nature.

"I love the small class sizes, and the close relationships I have with the students and professors. It is such a nice feeling to know your professors know you by name and personality, and not by a number.

I chose Lakehead because it was close to home and I wanted to be a part of creating this new campus. As for my program, teaching is what I have wanted to do since I was 10. And this was a perfect opportunity to excel in the two areas I am good at, Math and English, in the same program.
