The Department of History, Thunder Bay Public Library, and Thunder Bay Historical Museum Society joined forces to provide an afternoon focused on regional and local history as part of the Nipigon River Brook Trout Festival. Activities included screening of historic films, displays, presentations, workshops (including one on genealogy), and children's activities. On hand were also individuals to assist with the scanning of photos and documents to add to the Gateway to Northwestern Ontario History Collection (http://images.ourontario.ca/gateway).
