Lakehead University and Confederation College - Joint Admissions Application Form

We're thrilled that you have decided to apply to Lakehead University!

Lakehead University and Confederation College have a unique agreement which allows Confederation College students to avoid application fees and apply directly to Lakehead University for a conditional offer to a select program of your choice.
Covering more than 30 distinct diploma-to-degree programs, this agreement enables you to continue with your post-secondary education after the completion of your diploma.

This form is currently only available to applicants expecting to receive their college diploma in 2025-2026 (or earlier). If you've recently begun your journey with Confederation College, please apply to Lakehead University closer to your graduation date.

Applying through the joint admissions process is easy! All you need to you to do is fill-out the application form below and press submit. Do not submit an application through OUAC -this form serves as your application. You will receive an email when your application is set up, at which point you will need to arrange with Confederation College for your transcript to be sent to Lakehead.

Your must arrange to have final official transcript(s) from all post-secondary institutions you have attended provided to Undergraduate Admissions (docs.admission@lakeheadu.ca).

It is the student’s responsibility to become familiar with the academic and financial regulations and penalty dates as published by Lakehead. I hereby certify that the information provided on this application is accurate and complete. I understand that incomplete, inaccurate, or false statements may cause my admission or registration to be rescinded. In addition, misrepresentation of my legal status in Canada could result in legal penalties. I am prepared to provide proof of my citizenship if required.
