2. What’s the difference between an English BA and an Honours BA, and how do I get into the Honours BA program?

The BA basic requirement is an overall C (60%) average in all English courses.  For requirements for this degree, please see the following link to BA English program description page. A student may enter the Honours BA program in English after the first year providing a “B” average is attained in ENGL 1115 and any other 1^st year course(s). ENGL 2250, 2251 and 2913 are also required courses for all English Honours students and can be taken in any order.  Students in the BA Honours Program must also take 1.5 FCE at the fourth-year level.
