Social and Population Health

Students develop their knowledge and understanding of the principles of primary health care and the Canadian health care system; public health; cultural/social/economic aspects of health and illness; history of disease; health promotion and disease prevention for individuals, communities, and populations; workplace health and safety; and research methods and critical appraisal, epidemiology, and statistics.
