About

The University Office of Sustainability supports the University in expanding its sustainability profile by implementing changes that support social, environmental, and economic justice. This includes integrating sustainability concepts and criteria into policy and planning, curriculum and research, building and operations, and campus and public engagement. We consider a lens of social, environmental, and economic justice in our decision making.

We implement these changes through the University's 2019-2025 Sustainability Plan, a roadmap of goals and actions.

The Office of Sustainability reports to the Sustainability Executive Advisory Committee, composed of the Provost, the Vice-President of Finance and Administration, the Vice-President of Research and Innovation, the Principal (Orillia Campus) and the Vice-President of External Relations, along with other members appointed by the Provost.
