Modelling Techniques in Water Resources

Dimensionless formulation of natural laws and simulation theory; theoretical principles in the formulations of models; model construction techniques, calibration and validation procedures; hands on experience with numerical models; case studies with design for minimum environmental impacts. Students will complete a project including a literature survey and discussion of research gaps in a specific topic related to modeling techniques in water resources.
