The Northwest Climate Gathering brings the party. Great things spring from connected, place-based communities that play together. Our Fourth Annual Gathering on Saturday October 17 invites Climate-Action seekers of all ages from across the region to refresh, connect, and be inspired by good information in good company. We meet at the Outpost on Lakehead University campus Saturday October 17 from coffee at 9:30 until our active transportation parade at 3:00 to break in the new trail and bridge alongside Oliver Road. The day includes a Think Like a Mountain Joanna Macy-inspired opening activity, a Stationary-Bike relay, a photo-op to celebrate your ready-to-ride or far-from-fast-fashion Gathering outfit, plus all-ages crafting and game tables, and a free lunch. We're talking Active Transportation. Register early & bring a friend! Volunteer opportunities available. Contact kbrooks2@lakeheadu.ca if you have questions.
