Are you a foodie who loves to try new things? Are you interested in local and unique flavour combinations? This workshop will tickle the tastebuds with ‘WICKed’ – a sweeter rub that can also be used to glaze veggies – and the original ‘Shumka Dust.’ Participants will not only receive these two gluten-friendly spice blends, but they will also be sent a video for a Zoom cooking demo in which they will learn about how to “Dust a little or Dust a lot”. They’ll also get to know the Shumka family (Kate, Scott, and 12-year old Jordin) in a follow-up Q&A Zoom session, and learn about how ‘Shumka Dust’ came to be a household staple in Thunder Bay, before becoming available in shops across Canada!
