Lakehead's Mandatory Vaccination Policy applies to anyone who accesses Lakehead University premises.
BEFORE YOU COME TO CAMPUS, YOU MUST:
- Complete a daily COVID-19 screening (your screening result lasts for 24 hours); and
- Complete your “Vaccine Passport” submission, or apply for an exemption.
3 ways to fulfil these obligations:
1. Using the Lakehead University Mobile Safety app
3. If you do not have access to Lakehead's Mobile Safety app or a computer you must visit Security Services and complete a COVID-19 screening before proceeding to your destination on campus AND have a paper or digital copy of your vaccination status on you at all times
If you have questions about the mandatory vaccination policy, please visit our ‘Mandatory Vaccination Policy’ FAQs section on our Welcome back to campus: Fall 2021 webpage. If you have a question about the policy that isn’t there, please submit it to COVIDvaccinepolicyquestions@lakeheadu.ca and we will either answer you directly, or add your question (and answer) to the list of FAQs as soon as possible.
The return of more people to Ontario’s post-secondary campuses is being monitored by Public Health, the Ministry of Colleges and Universities, and the sector at large. Rest assured that our committee members are continuously assessing to situation and will adapt our health and safety policies in accordance with any changes to health and government authorities’ recommendations.
Thank you and be safe,
Lakehead’s COVID-19 Transition Committee
