Journey magazine features compelling profiles of alumni, faculty, and students plus news of groundbreaking research from our Thunder Bay and Orillia campuses.This alumni magazine is read by thousands of Lakehead University grads living across Canada and throughout the world. Its reach extends even further since alumni families and friends, as well as Lakehead partner organizations, read this full-colour 24-page publication.

Journey is published twice a year and mailed to approximately 30,000 households and businesses.

Advertising Policy

Lakehead University’s Marketing Unit has the right to approve the content and design of all advertising submissions.

Frequency

Twice a year: Spring/Summer issue and Fall/Winter issue.

Circulation

The print version is distributed twice per year to approximately 30,000 households. The online version is hosted on the Lakehead University website and is promoted through social media.

Guidelines for Print Ready Ads
  • Images must be at 300 DPI resolution.
  • Logos used must be Vector bases, EPS mode, 600 DPI at a scale of 100% of usage
  • All fonts should be "outlined" or converted to curves
  • Bleed requirement is 1/8" all sides
  • Page size 8 1/8" x 10 5/8" trimmed
  • Page size artwork 6 5/8" x 8 7/8"
