Previous Teaching/Work: 

Lisa has taught more than 20 different courses in geography, geology, and environmental science at Lakehead University, the University of Toronto, and Seneca College.  She has also done contract work for the provincial (MNR) and federal (Parks Canada, Geologic Survey of Canada) governments.  For the MNR the project was Lake Trout habitat with sidescan sonar in southern Georgian Bay, and for Parks Canada and the Geologic Survey of Canada the project was Whitefish habitat with multibeam sonar in Lake Huron/Georgian Bay.

Research Interests: 

Geoscience education, diversity, and accessibility, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing, Applied geophysics (sonar), Lake Huron - sedimentology, stratigraphy, and invertebrate biology.
