Much of my work has been with multigrid algorithms for solving large sparse systems of equations. The multigrid approach develops an approximate solution to the large system with the help of several related smaller systems. Recent work has also involved multiscale graph drawing algorithms as well as neural network asynchronous self organizing map algorithms.
