"Strength-Based Strategies for Parents and Educators to Promote Mental Wellness and Resiliencies in Children and Youth": Distinguished Researcher 2021 Presentation, Dr. Ed Rawana
About the Presentation
Every single day, we as parents and educators continue to be the two most significant adult influences on the children and adolescents in our personal and professional lives. As their greatest supporters, we want our influence to be as positive as it can be. It should come as a relief to know that the mutually beneficial outcome we desire is not only possible but even probable when participants are able to apply their strengths throughout their regular interactions. Drawing from psychological principles for this presentation, Dr. Rawana offers specific strategies for learning to use your strengths in building competencies and encouraging positive personality development. With a little effort, these concepts can be internalized to produce greater resiliencies and to promote overall mental wellness.
