The goal of this panel and networking event is to introduce members of the Lakehead and Thunder Bay communities to the concept of FinTech, which can encompass any of the technological innovations that occur in the finance sector, focusing on fundraising, investing, financial transactions and many other applicable and ever-changing areas.

Northern IGNITE

Northern IGNITE will allow speakers to use a photo-only presentation when describing their passion and process throughout their research journey.  This event is meant to focus on bringing Lakehead research activities to the community and sharing industry partnership success stories.  20 slides x 20 seconds per slide allow the presenters only 6 minutes and 40 seconds share why they are passionate about their work.
