Two Campuses
Lakehead University offers Education programs at both of its campuses: Thunder Bay, situated on the north shore of Lake Superior; and Orillia, in the heart of central Ontario’s cottage country.
A Range of Teacher Education Programs
Depending on your educational background and your career goals, Lakehead offers a variety of programs to suit your interests:
- Concurrent Bachelor of Education – Thunder Bay campus
For students who do not yet have a university degree and wish to become a teacher.
- Concurrent Bachelor of Education – Orillia campus
For students who do not yet have a university degree and wish to become a teacher.
- Consecutive Bachelor of Education – Thunder Bay campus
For students who have a university degree and wish to become a teacher.
- Consecutive Bachelor of Education – Orillia campus
For students who have a university degree and wish to become a teacher. - Honours Bachelor of Education (Aboriginal) – Thunder Bay campus
For people of Aboriginal ancestry wishing to become teachers. - Native Teacher Education Programs – Thunder Bay campus
