Lakehead recognized as one of Canada's Top 10 Universities

Lakehead University is proud to be recognized by Macleans in their 2020 rankings of the top primarily undergraduate universities in Canada. Lakehead was ranked in the top 10 of Canada, furthermore, Lakehead is ranked No. 2 among Ontario universities in its category. Lakehead also maintained its No. 2 standing among primarily undergraduate universities for student awards, citations (scholarly output), and total research dollars.

This ranking reinforces Research Infosource's placement of Lakehead as the top Canadian undergraduate research university four years in a row. It is also a testament to Lakehead's enriched and engaging academic experience. The rankings report that Lakehead University has the highest graduation rate among Ontario’s primarily undergraduate universities, the seventh highest graduation rate among Ontario’s 21 universities, and the seventh highest graduation rate among Ontario’s 21 universities.
