What you can look forward too.

Week One:  Staying Present - This will cover staying aware of your surroundings, recognizing threats, mindset and pre-contact ques to recognize in personal self defense.

Week Two: Building on week one "what to do's" we will explore body mechanics to pick up aggressive behaviours, physical distancing even without a pandemic, common distractions we find work for attackers, and how to remain neutral and ready when being confronted.  Reactionary gap - how much time do i need to register an attack coming at me?

Week Three: Adrenal stress (what is it, can we control it, what happens to my body response during adrenal stress) factors to consider when in a situation, physical attacks from the front, how to hit, where to hit while being attacked from the front, how to shift and move.  Good ways to hit, things that will get you hurt (to do and not to do's).

Week Four: Review of information so far, hair pulling, strangulations, common attacks from behind and how to defend them.  Environmental Awareness, utilizing physical surroundings (barriers, curbs, fences, flower pots, etc... things to utilize to help your escape in a situation.

Week Five: Back attacks, familial violence (domestic violence), practicing back attacks, rear chokes, difference between a choke and strangle.  Priority during either choke or strangle to alleviate unconsciousness and get out.

Week Six: Review front/back attacks, introduction to falling or being pushed down, ground attacks and how to gain advantage.  Verbal yelling to gain attention (we will discuss this in almost all sessions) any questions, aids that can be utilized.

Week 7: Practical role playing, ego deconstruction for verbal deescalation, mixing up attacks, front, back and ground.  Improving your awareness to avoid situations.

Week 8: Wrap up and questions and multiple demonstrations.  Telephone numbers for help, review of any questions etc...
