Online Courses & Online Degree

Lakehead University is pleased to offer you a comprehensive assortment of flexible web-based courses that will allow you to further your education in a way that fits your life! Lakehead University is proud to offer two undergraduate degree programs that can be completed solely online: BA (General) and BA (History). 

General Admission Requirements

The General Admission Requirements for individuals interested in completing one or two courses are based upon the applicant's academic background. For example, if you last attended high school, you will need to satisfy the high school or mature student general admission requirements found here. If you last attended a university (including Lakehead), you will need to satisfy the university transfer student general admission requirements found here.

For a complete listing of available courses, including online courses, please refer to our course timetables. Please note that some courses are restricted to certain programs, or require certain prerequisite courses to be completed. Be sure to check each course for restrictions by clicking on the course title in the course timetables.

How to Apply

To apply to Lakehead University, you will need to apply here:  Ontario Universities' Application Centre. Once on the application:

1. Select the program that you would like to complete and the entry point
2. Complete the application
