General Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to a certificate program, you must meet the specific certificate program requirements found here.

In addition, you must submit official transcripts from all previously attended secondary and post-secondary institutions. Previous Lakehead University students do not need to submit Lakehead transcripts. Lastly, applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate that they can cope with the language demands of an English language university. This involves meeting Lakehead University's English language requirements.   

How to Apply

To apply to a certificate program, you will need to submit an application using our  Ontario Universities' Application Centre. Once on the application:

  1. Select a campus followed by the certificate program that you would like to complete.
  2. Complete the rest of the application.

Once you have submitted your application, please mail copies of your final official transcripts to:
