Intro to Mindfulness

Join SHW counsellor, Holly Maki, to dip your toes into mindfulness. This session includes an introduction to mindfulness where we hope to create some “aha moments” about mindfulness, maybe even inspiring you to want to know more.  Included in this session there will be an explanation of what mindfulness is, how it can be supportive to your well-being and the opportunity to participate in some brief mindfulness exercises.

Climate Emotions Circle

Music Therapy

Join Kaelyn, accredited music therapist and neurologic music therapist, for a unique group finding new ways to destress with music! Come out to experience a bit of what music therapy can do for you and gain some resources for you to try at home. Music therapists can utilize different aspects of music to express all types of emotions, regulate mind and body and even slow heart rate during times of active stressors. Activities will all be done in a low-stakes group environment at whatever participation level you feel comfortable, no "solos" required!

People of all musical backgrounds welcome, from the friend group playlist curator to soon to be professional musicians!
