Student Health and Wellness, in partnership with the Thunder Bay District Health Unit’s sexual health team and LUSU, is offering confidential, drop-in STI testing at The Outpost from 11 am-2 pm.
Here’s what you can expect:

🍕 A free slice of pizza on us (while supplies last)
🛍️ Free sexual health supplies for future consensual fun

Start your year off right with Fresh Tracks — a two-part wellness workshop series created just for students living in residence. This collaborative initiative from Student Health and Wellness, ResLife, and Campus Rec is designed to help you build healthy habits in your first year.
Led by Health Promoter and Registered Kinesiologist Lindsey Wachter, Fresh Tracks will help you get comfortable using campus fitness spaces and navigating nutrition.

We'll walk over to the Wolf den and take a guided tour of Lakehead’s athletic facilities, get your fitness questions answered, and learn how to build a personalized, beginner-friendly workout plan.
Location: Res Life Centre
Explore how to stock your dorm room fridge, prep budget-friendly snacks, and make the most of the kitchen tools and space available to you in Res Halls.
This series is open to residence students in Res Halls only; registration is required.

Kick back, play, and connect at Rec the Yard—an evening of outdoor games, good vibes, and campus rec fun! Join Student Health and Wellness and Campus Rec for a night of friendly competition with lawn games like spikeball and cornhole, all while learning about the fitness and recreation opportunities available to you on campus.
You’ll also get the chance to connect with LU Women in Sport, Modo Yoga, and LUSU—and see what they have to offer.
