Join Student Health and Wellness for live, counsellor-led mindful meditation sessions in our activity room. Each session begins with a check-in, then a mindfulness practice is introduced and guided, followed by an opportunity to discuss any questions or insights.
No experience necessary – whether you are new to mindfulness or practice regularly, having the support of a group can help to strengthen your practice.
Open to students, staff and faculty.
As the academic year winds down, take time to say thank you who helped you get through it, whether it be a prof, roommate, family member, GA, or colleague. Use the form below to send a note to someone you are grateful and Student Health and Wellness will deliver it to them before April 12.
Not only will this thank you card spread positivity to the person receiving it, but it will help you too! Gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Expressing gratitude can help people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships- so this exercise could be the start of your new wellness habit!
