Join Therapy Dogs from St. John Ambulance in the Simcoe Hall Learning Commons from 12:30-1:30 pm on Thursday April 7th for some exam stress relief.

Don't abandon physical activity this exam season! Research shows that physical exercise releases proteins in the brain that can actually help improve your memory and increase your cognitive performance. This is because the hippocampus, the area of our brain that is involved with retaining information is incredibly responsive to these proteins. So whether you’re revising for an exam or finishing a project, you’ll be able to take in and retain what you learn much more easily if you have been doing some regular exercise.

Join Student Health and Wellness and Pride Central for a conversation about sexual health for members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. The session will be led by Kris Carlson, a social worker and sexual health educator, and Catherine Legault, RN.

Join Student Health and Wellness for live, counsellor-led mindful meditation sessions every Thursday in our activity room. Each session begins with a check-in, then a mindfulness practice is introduced and guided, followed by an opportunity to discuss any questions or insights.
No experience necessary – whether you are new to mindfulness or practice regularly, having the support of a group can help to strengthen your practice.
