Are you a regular at the caf and curious about how to get the most out of your meals? Join Dietitian Donna from Dana Hospitality for a Lunch & Learn at the dining hall! Donna will walk through the dining hall with the group to discuss the food options, answer questions, and help you build a nutritious meal that meets your preferences. The group will also have an opportunity to sit down with Donna to learn more about healthy eating strategies.
You can use your meal plan to purchase your lunch at the dining hall, otherwise, lunch can be purchased for $12. Don't want lunch but still want to learn? You are welcome to join!

The cutest kind of stress relief is back! Visit the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs at Heritage Place from noon - 1 pm

safeTALK is a 4-hour, in-person workshop to build skills in suicide prevention. Participants will learn how to recognize and engage with someone thinking about suicide, overcome attitudes that act as barriers to help, talk openly about suicide and connect with intervention resources for further support.
Through presentations, audiovisuals, small group discussion and scenario practice, you will learn a 4-step TALK model and practical steps to help activate a suicide alert that connects people having thoughts of suicide with more specialized intervention care and relevant resources.
All participants will receive a learning booklet, resources and a Certificate of Completion.
Open to students, staff and faculty.
Registration is required, space is limited.

This event is to raise awareness about consent and pose situations that you may not be aware of that require your consent - in relationships, and friendships and to see what makes a happy and healthy one. Also touching on what gaslighting is and how it can affect you in more ways than one.
