PC How to map AD drives

How to Map your employee AD FILECLUSTER folder

1. Go to My Computer
2. Click on Tools-Map Network Drive
3. Select H for the drive letter
4. Enter the following on the folder line:

For AD Filecluster: \\filecluster.lakeheadu.ca\H\employee\< your username here>

5. Check the box that says connect using different credentials
6. Enter ad\< your username> on the first line and your password on the second line
7. Check the box that says remember my credentials and click ok

HOW TO MAP THE COURSES FOLDER ( K DRIVE )

1. Go to My Computer
2. Click on Tools-Map Network Drive
3. Select K for the drive letter
4. Enter the following on the folder line:

For AD Fileserver (Thunder Bay): \\adfileserver\f\courses
For Orillia Fileserver (Orillia): \\orillia-file\e\Courses

5. Check the box that says connect using different credentials
6. Enter ad\<your username> on the first line and your password on the second line
7. Check the box that says remember my credentials and click ok

How to Map your personal folder ( M drive for faculty )

1. Go to My Computer
2. Click on Tools-Map Network Drive
3. Select M for the drive letter
4. Enter the following on the folder line:

For AD Fileserver (Thunder Bay): \\adfileserver\f\faculty\<your username here>
For Orillia Fileserver (Orillia): \\orillia-file\e\faculty\<your username here>

5. Check the box that says connect using different credentials
6. Enter ad\<your username> on the first line and your password on the second line
7. Check the box that says remember my credentials and click ok
