Co-op Faculty & Staff Advisor List (2025)

Faculty Advisors are available to offer advice on program-specific inquiries and to facilitate your development and learning as you progress through your studies. Unless otherwise specified, your Faculty Advisor is usually your Program Chair. They will be your main contact for questions regarding the co-op program and they work closely with Co-op staff to make final decisions regarding co-op eligibility, work term sequence, and job approvals. Co-op Faculty Advisors determine the grade assigned to co-op work term reports at the end of each work term. 

Co-op Staff Advisors
Once students have determined that they'd like to pursue co-op as part of their Lakehead experience, Co-op Staff Advisors are available to prepare students to successfully navigate co-operative education program milestones. Staff Advisors provide individual student appointments, facilitate the Co-op Prep course, and coach students in strategic job search skills. Amongst their other duties, Staff Advisors conduct employer outreach to develop job opportunities for co-op students, and also work with other administrators at the University to ensure student records and transcripts are up-to-date.
