Co-op Work Term Learning Outcomes
These documents are resources to assist students during the job search phase of the co-op journey. In order for a work experience to be eligible for use during a co-op education work term, several criteria must be met. The work experience must be full-time, and paid a regular wage, and provide enough weeks/hours to meet minimum co-operative requirements (at least 420 hours per work term). In addition, the position must meet work term learning outcomes. In other words, the position must allow the student to use and develop technical as well as transferable, essential employment skills that are associated with a specific program and industry.
Here are the work term learning outcomes guides, by program:
- Environmental Management
- Environmental Sustainability
- Forestry
- Engineering
- Computer Science (Honours & Masters Programs)
- Business
- Kinesiology
- Economics
Note: If a program is not yet hyperlinked to a document, the faculty advisor is currently confirming the guide for the next work term.
