Survivor Love Letters

As part of Consent Awareness Week, Student Health and Wellness, the Office of Human Rights and Equity and Pride/GEC are inviting Lakehead students, staff and faculty to share a message of care and support for survivors of sexual violence.

Survivor Love Letters are an opportunity to remind survivors that they are believed, supported and deserving of care. You don’t need to know a survivor personally to share a message. A few words of encouragement, solidarity, hope or compassion can make a difference.

Inspired by the Survivor Love Letter movement, submissions will be collected for a future resource that survivors can read when accessing support on campus and may be shared anonymously on OHRE, SHW or Pride/GEC Social Media.

Please do not include identifying information about yourself or another person, or details about a specific incident or experience of sexual violence in your submission.
