Dean's Welcome

On behalf of the faculty and staff in the Faculty of Business Administration, I would like to welcome you to Lakehead University. We are glad that you will be joining us in January.

The Faculty’s goal is to provide meaningful learning experiences for our students that will help them prepare for successful careers in a wide range of areas. Our small classes enable a high level of interaction with other students and professors. There are a variety of experiential learning opportunities that provide students with the opportunity to practice what they are studying. In addition to in-class case studies, simulations, and community-based projects, we also have options for Co-op and Work-Integrated Learning programs and international exchanges to add to your coursework.

The faculty and staff, along with a range of support services offered within Lakehead University are here to support your success in the program. Since you are starting the program in January, you may want to consider spring and summer courses to help you to “catch up” to your colleagues who started the program in September. Should you need academic advising support, I invite you to connect with your Program Chair.
