Ontario Learn and Stay Grant
In 2023-24 the Ontario government created a program, the Ontario Learn and Stay Grant (OLSG), to help make education affordable for students in priority programs and communities in Ontario. The OLSG program:
- requires you to learn and work in the region where you study,
- responds to labour market needs,
- helps communities get the workers they need for in-demand professions.
Lakehead University is excited to have the following programs part of this program:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (3-year compressed)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (4-year)
- Master of Nursing - Advanced Practice Specialization
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner Specialization
- Master of Public Heath - Nursing Specialization
When studying in one of these listed programs you may be eligible for the OLSG. As a participant of the OLSG you would receive the full cost of:
- tuition,
- compulsory fees,
- books, and
- other direct educational costs.
