The JHSC engaged in a conversation regarding lab access. Lakehead University has a strong process regarding lab access, including an access list that only allows the properly trained individuals to enter the lab space. Sree commented that there has been one or two situations where un-authorized individuals have walked into the lab area. This item is for further discussion between T-Bird, Vicki and Sree to determine some changes that can be implemented to ensure additional security measures for the lab, and bring awareness to the broader University community to only be in authorized spaces. Confirmed that there are signs on the door that indicate authorized personnel only for entrance.
