The Director, Undergraduate Recruitment & Marketing is a key member of the Student Affairs and Enrolment Services leadership team. The Director will oversee the creation, implementation and assessment of an effective Canadian undergraduate student recruitment and conversion strategy with emphasis on developing and implementing initiatives that will support the institution in achieving its undergraduate domestic enrolment goals. As part of this, the Director will develop and maintain a comprehensive recruitment communication plan and lead the creative development and execution of vibrant and dynamic recruitment marketing and communications, across a variety of channels, in order to elevate the profile of the University and its offerings with prospective students, applicants, and their influencers.

 

The role will be the senior recruiting representative of the University to future undergraduate students, applicants and influencers. This includes collaboration and communication with academic departments/schools and student service areas internally, along with building and fostering strong relationships with schools, the guidance community and educators. Identifying and monitoring recruitment funnel metrics, and the utilization of data to support strategies and adapting of those strategies as required will be part of this role.

 

Additionally, the Director will lead, manage and motivate a vibrant, high performance, and multi-campus team. The Director will provide hands-on, visionary leadership focused on supporting the team in meeting their goals and fostering their success.

 

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in student recruitment, marketing/public relations or other related experience, preferably in a post-secondary environment. A university degree is required. This position requires an enthusiastic self-starter with outstanding communication skills and demonstrated ability in public speaking, marketing, and writing. Demonstrated creativity, initiative and the ability to develop innovative and data driven solutions are essential. The incumbent must be highly engaged, results-oriented and adaptable with strong project management, organizational, analytical, and budgeting skills. Strong leadership experience including proven ability to lead, support and motivate teams is expected.
