Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to meet established timelines, you will be responsible for the processing of confidential payrolls for our graduate and post doctoral staff and part time hourly (approximately 400 employees per pay period), ensuring timeliness and accuracy are maintained, and process, analyze and adjust payroll as required.  This is done using an established ERP system, calendar/schedules and EXCEL exception reports.

 

You have a degree or diploma in business accounting and/or your certified payroll practitioner certificate or equivalent, and at least two years related experience in a unionized environment. You have excellent organization, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.  Ideally you also have a working knowledge of Datatel/Colleague or a similar ERP system and are proficient with Excel and WORD.
