DUTIES:
• Provide administrative support to the Masters of Nursing Program, including faculty,
Nursing Graduate Coordinator, and Director of the School of Nursing
• Complete all department forms as required
• Scheduling tasks (loading sheets, exam timetables, etc.) being in contact with
cognate undergraduate and graduate related units
• Produce meeting agendas, attend and minute meetings
• Submit calendar changes
• Prepare and release communications and other public announcements
• Assist with cyclical review of programs by collating departments review documents
• Organize and maintain office filing system, ensuring confidentiality and security of all
files
• Design, produce and help to distribute promotional and recruitment materials
• Reconcile invoices for accounts payable and Visa purchasing card; use concur for travel
reimbursement,
• Onboard new Sessional Instructors and Graduate Assistants
• Maintain department website and ensure accurate and current information is

• Processing stipend payments, cheque requisitions, monitoring budget lines, and liaising with the CNO
and other licensing agencies
• Create and maintain filing systems, including digital storage
• Website development and maintenance
• Support for course set-up for Zoom; and other distance education technology,
• Perform other duties as required, such as ensure accuracy of Department materials
Qualifications:
• A post-secondary Administrative Diploma, with minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Demonstrated administrative and office management experience;
• Effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and effectively without direct or ongoing supervision;
• Demonstrated ability to multitask a variety of high priority duties, manage conflicting priorities;
and work under pressure of deadlines;
• Ability to make effective and appropriate decisions using available resources;
• Ability to work and handle all office duties in a confidential and diplomatic manner.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer software programs, including Microsoft Office and
Adobe suites, as well as webpage management; experience operating Google email and calendar
scheduling systems including Curriculum Navigator;
• working knowledge of database systems;
ability to learn University information management systems, learning platforms (experience with
Datatel/Colleague for budget reporting, Zoom considered an asset);
