NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR 1
Thunder Bay Campus

Full Time, Permanent 

OPSEU Position,
Salary $33.31 - $42.18 per Hour

Highly organized, detail oriented, and analytical, you will be responsible for the engineering, security, configuration, installation and administration of the LAN/WAN, wireless, and phone networks. You will maintain firewalls, PBX, voicemail, VoIP, video conference products, and other related services. Supportive and team oriented, you will also lead or provide technical expertise to campus projects related to network design, server and network configurations.  Demonstrated project management skills, and the ability to develop a team, manage project scope, timelines and meet project expectations is essential. You have a degree or diploma related to computer science or technology, as well as demonstrated success in troubleshooting and debugging while under pressure. Candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the development and maintenance of an enterprise level network and 3 years of experience project planning and team management/team development. You are a strong communicator with a detailed understanding of networking, telecom, and audio/visual hardware. Expected hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
