Course Title: PSYC 2801 ADE: Social Psychology (1.0 FCE)

Course Description: A survey of theory and research on the nature and causes of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in social situations. Topics include person perception, social cognition, attitudes, prejudice and discrimination, interpersonal attraction, personal relationships, aggression, pro-social behaviour, conformity and compliance, and behaviour in groups.
Preferred Qualifications: Expertise, background and experience in General Psychology are required. Previous teaching of the respective course is considered an asset. Applicants must have a M.A. in Psychology, although a Ph.D. in Psychology is preferred.
