Fall 2021 Sport Offerings

This fall, the Campus Rec department is excited to be offering a variety of intramural sport leagues. New sports may be added to this page as they are confirmed, so be sure to check back throughout the semester! Have a sport you want to see? Email us at campusrec@lakeheadu.ca to let us know!

All of our sports are co-ed. To see the rules on gender in our sports see the rulebook for the sport you are planning on participating, please visit our rules page. 

All intramural sports will abide by Lakehead University and the Government of Ontario’s COVID-19 protocols. All participants should be prepared to show appropriate documentation of their vaccine status in compliance with the Lakehead University Mandatory Vaccine Policy. 

League Information

Our full semester fall leagues (soccer, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, and innertube) will be running for a total of 9 weeks. Games will begin the week of September 26th and finishing on Sunday, December 5th. There will be no games played between Oct 7 and Oct 17 due to reading week. Each league will have a regular season ending two weeks before the end of this 10 week period to allow time for playoffs.

Teams should be able to play at any time within their assigned league days/times. Requests for specific game times may not be possible.

CoRec Soccer

League Night: Sundays
Times: 12 pm to 10 pm
Cost

  • Student Team = 300
  • Non-Student Team = 350
  • Student Individual = 50
  • Non-Student Individual = 60

Registration Dates:

  • Students = Sep 13 until Sep 23rd at 11:59 pm
  • Non-Students = Sep 20 until Sep 23rd at 11:59 pm

CoRec Basketball

League Night: Wednesdays
Times: 6 pm to 10 pm
Cost

  • Student Team = 300
  • Non-Student Team = 350
  • Student Individual = 50
  • Non-Student Individual = 60

Registration Dates:

  • Students = Sep 13 until Sep 23rd at 11:59 pm
  • Non-Students = Sep 20 until Sep 23rd at 11:59 pm

CoRec Dodgeball

League Night: Mondays
Times: 6 pm to 10 pm
Cost

  • Student Team = 250
  • Non-Student Team = 300
  • Student Individual = 40
  • Non-Student Individual = 50
